Eating lean meats is great for your overall health. Protein has a thermic effect on our bodies and actually takes some energy just to digest. Meats with lots of protein also help build and maintain muscle mass, something which helps for fat loss greatly.

#4: Fresh Fruits with Low Sugar Content

Not all fruits are so great for fat loss. Some fruits, like bananas, grapes, pomegranates, fugs, oranges, or any type of dried fruit when eaten frequently can make fat loss more difficult. It is better to choose fruits low in sugar. Good examples are most all types of berries, kiwis, lemons, limes, watermelons, peaches, nectarines, apricots, grapefruits, apples, and cantaloupe.

#5: Green Veggies

When I recommend eating lots of veggies, I highly recommend going green. The greener the better. Green vegetables have lots of fiber, chlorophyll (which is very cleansing for the body), vitamins, and nutrients.

If you want the best effect s of eating veggies, try having a green salad with each meal. This helps with the digestion and processing of all the other foods in your meal greatly.

#6: Protein Powder

If you’re stumped at how you’ll eat lots of lean meats, a good alternative is protein powders. Whey protein is one of the best options out there as it’s low in carbohydrates and generally pretty healthy, depending on how processed it is.

Protein, as mentioned above, helps with fat loss in many ways. It is recommended to have a good portion of your meal come from protein content as this makes you feel full without eating as much and keeps you full for longer.

#7: Eggs

Although many people say that eggs are bad for health, they are very effective for fat reduction. They are filled with protein and healthy fats that help with fat loss. Depending on the way the chicken ate, the fat content can be very healthy or unhealthy. If a chicken was raised naturally, the fat content will be much healthier for you.
